County commissioners consider sending bug-killed tree to D.C.
In 1997, a 63-foot-tall Black Hill spruce from the Black Hills National Forest was chopped down and moved to the front lawn of the U.S. Capitol, where it was decorated with lights and ornaments as the Capitol Christmas Tree.
